Job Description
Xometry, a company connecting people with manufacturers, is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in Boston, MA. The TAM will be embedded within strategic accounts, acting as an extension of their engineering teams. This role blends customer engagement, technical expertise, and operational execution. The TAM will report to Operations and work closely with Sales to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Customer Integration: Act as a trusted advisor, collaborate with customer engineers on DFM, and identify manufacturing challenges.
- Order Fulfillment and Quality: Ensure orders are directed to qualified manufacturers, conduct on-site audits, manage projects, and handle communications.
- Sales and Account Growth: Partner with sales executives, identify opportunities for service expansion, and provide technical expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and project management.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
- Proficiency in modelling and drafting software such as Solidworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
