Job Description
Xometry, a company connecting people with manufacturers, is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in Savannah, GA. The TAM will be embedded within strategic accounts, acting as an extension of their engineering teams. This role blends customer engagement, technical expertise, and operational execution. The TAM will report to Operations and work closely with Sales to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction.Responsibilities include:
- Customer Integration: Becoming a trusted advisor and technical expert, conducting weekly onsite visits, collaborating with customer engineers on DFM, and staying informed about customer projects.
- Order Fulfillment and Quality: Ensuring orders are directed to qualified manufacturers, conducting monthly on-site audits, managing projects to completion, handling communications, and monitoring dashboards.
- Sales and Account Growth: Partnering with Sales Executives, identifying opportunities for expanding services, and providing technical expertise.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and project management.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
- Proficiency in modelling and drafting software such as Solidworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
