Delivery Manager

Backbase is seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to lead its Vietnam operations. This role involves leading a cross-functional team of software engineers, defining team workflows, and implementing hiring and training strategies. The Delivery Manager will ensure team operations integrate with other Backbase teams and locations and may require occasional travel to clients and the Amsterdam headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers.
• Define and promote team workflows.
• Implement hiring and training strategies.
• Ensure operations integrate with all Backbase teams.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Software Delivery Manager in complex software projects.
• Sufficient technology skills to interact with technical colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Solid technical background in AWS or other public cloud providers.
• Experience growing and leading a team of up to 50 engineers.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or IT.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a software development manager.
