Job Description
Lush is seeking a Manager in Training to support the Store Manager in ensuring a strong customer and staff experience, operational excellence, and exceeding sales goals. This role involves embodying Lush's Leadership Practices and contributing to various aspects of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique and inclusive customer experience.
  • Educating customers and staff on brand values.
  • Increasing product knowledge and making informed recommendations.
  • Demonstrating business acumen and understanding of metrics, budgets, and reports.
  • Supporting the team on the sales floor, answering questions, and motivating them.
  • Owning personal development and supporting the growth of the team.
  • Ensuring the team is inspired, motivated, and building strong relationships.
  • Supporting the staffing of the shop with top-performing staff.
  • Collaborating on plans to improve staff engagement, retention, and DEIB practices.
  • Supporting the manager to keep the shop compliant with company standards.
  • Supporting the training of the inventory team and managing ordering.
  • Supporting the development of the team to maintain a clean and beautiful work environment.
  • Ensuring the right number of staff are scheduled at peak times.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of managing or supervising in a retail environment
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
  • Ability to work flexible hours
