Platform Engineer

Job Description

Clipboard Health is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their fully remote team. The Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure using Terraform, developing and supporting backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js, and managing and optimizing the company's cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of platform features, from design and implementation to monitoring and support in production.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and support backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build reusable infrastructure modules and internal tooling.
• Own the full lifecycle of platform features.

Requirements:

• Experience in high-growth startup environments or fast-paced, agile teams.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems.
• Experience building and supporting web and backend systems using modern cloud-native tools and frameworks.
• Excitement for infrastructure as code, automation, and driving platform-level improvements.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
