Sr. Software QA Engineer, Infotainment (ADAS)

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer to join their Infotainment team. This role involves driving the validation of high-quality, high-performance software in the ADAS area, ensuring quality from low-level software to end applications. The candidate will validate software in simulation and on vehicles, testing and releasing in alignment with vehicle integration. They will also design, develop, maintain, and execute automated/manual tests, including functional, system integration, regression, and API testing, while supporting and coordinating between QA engineers and development teams to ensure growing test coverage.

• Drive validation of high quality software in infotainment area – ADAS
• Ensure quality from low-level software to end applications
• Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
• Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration
• Design, develop, maintain and execute automated / manual tests
• Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer in an automotive domain
• 5+ years experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
• Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality tests
• Working knowledge of Android and/or Linux, QNX
• Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience
• Experience working with simulation tools: Vehicle Spy / Vector / CAN analyzer / PCAN / Canoe
• Experience in testing ADAS features
• Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle
• MS or BS in related Engineering discipline
