Sr. Software QA Engineer, Infotainment (Audio)

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Audio Software QA Engineer to join its Infotainment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Audio Quality Assurance and a passion for automotive excellence. • Validate software in labs and on vehicles.
• Produce test plans and execute test runs.
• Define testing criteria based on product requirements.
• Perform functional and performance tests.
• Regression test audio features after software/firmware releases.
• Work with developers to test new fixes.
• Develop new test cases for new features.
• Partner with software development engineers.
• Analyze test results and file bugs.
• Design, set up, maintain, and execute automated tests.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Music Technology (or related discipline).
• 6+ years of experience testing and validating Audio products.
• Experience shipping top-rated, high-volume audio products (automotive, mobile, or consumer).
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Testing experience with Linux and/or Android, UNIX, iOS, and OSX.
• Foundational understanding of sound, electroacoustics, and audio technology.
• Trained Ear and Critical Listening Expertise.
