Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager to support Chassis Systems. This role is crucial for managing the company's business with a group of suppliers and acting as the key interface between Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing. The Global Supply Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing the global Supply Chain, establishing supply chain strategies, and driving sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.

Role involves:
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
  • Creating RFQs, reviewing quotations, and developing sourcing recommendations.
  • Negotiating contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs, and Engineering Services.
  • Managing supplier development and tooling timelines.
  • Maintaining supplier relationships and acting as the point of contact for commercial issues.
  • Creating and reconciling purchase orders and resolving invoice discrepancies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Automotive Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering related to Chassis systems.
  • Understanding of Chassis design and Purchasing/Quality related experience in sourcing components.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes supporting Chassis systems and assembly.
  • Product launch experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
