Sr. Global Supply Manager, Chassis

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager to support Chassis Systems. This role is crucial for managing the company's business with a group of suppliers and acting as the key interface between Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing. The Global Supply Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing the global Supply Chain, helping to establish the global supply chain strategy, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving sound business decisions throughout the product lifecycle.Role involves:

• Collaborating with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
• Creating RFQs, reviewing quotations, and developing sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiating favorable contracts including parts pricing and tooling costs.
• Managing supplier development and tooling timelines.
• Maintaining overall supplier relationships and acting as point of contact for commercial issues.
• Creating and reconciling purchase orders and resolving invoice discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Automotive Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering related to Chassis systems.
• Understanding of Chassis design and Purchasing/Quality related experience in sourcing components.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes supporting Chassis systems and assembly.
• Product launch experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, and ERP systems.
