Test Automation Engineer

Job Description

Prove is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join its SDET team. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, working to improve them to meet changing requirements and implement best practices. This role involves close collaboration with QAs, developers, and platform engineers to ensure flawless automated test processes.

Role Involves:

• Implementing and enhancing automated test frameworks.
• Ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and scalability of test automation frameworks.
• Investigating and repairing test failures.
• Collaborating with QAs and developers to identify test automation needs.
• Developing reporting mechanisms for test coverage and quality metrics.
• Mentoring team members on automation tools and best practices.
• Staying updated with industry trends in test automation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience across the testing lifecycle and familiarity with various testing methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in API testing and tools like Postman and Ready API.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
