Internship - Technical Research Intern in GenAI - AI Innovation Center Of Excellence (f/m/d)

Decathlon is seeking a Technical Research Intern in GenAI to join their AI Innovation Center of Excellence in Amsterdam. This internship focuses on exploring and developing fundamental techniques for understanding long contexts in Large Language Models (LLMs). The intern will contribute to the development of a Contextual GenAI Model for Decathlon's e-commerce search engine, enhancing the customer experience.

Role involves:

• Exploring methods to extend fixed-context LLMs to infinite-context LLMs.
• Evaluating performance using standard and custom metrics.
• Conducting research on LLM context extension.

Requirements:

• Understanding of LLM training with different loss functions.
• Knowledge of various architectures, tokenizers, and chat templates.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Ability to read and understand research papers.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in French.
