Junior Product Manager

commercetools is seeking a Junior Product Manager to join their Product team in Valencia, Spain. This role will report to the Senior Product Manager and will be responsible for working with the InStore team, the wider commercetools organization, customers, prospects, and partners to drive forward the InStore solution on a global basis. The Junior Product Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the product to delight customers by providing the best omnichannel experience, while monitoring globalization and localization considerations including fiscal compliance.

As a key member of the team, the Junior Product Manager will have the autonomy to navigate the full spectrum of the discovery, design, and delivery process within the omnichannel domain, to enable engineering to create features that solve customer problems.

Role involves:

• Representing customer product needs within a cross-functional team.
• Being the in-house InStore product expert.
• Assisting and supporting sales and partner enablement efforts.
• Creating user and buyer personas, business process flows, and detailed specifications.
• Conducting manual user acceptance testing.
• Collecting, organizing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
• Planning and conducting user research workshops.
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in retail store sales, management, or training.
• Strong ability to convert users’ needs to requirements.
• Strong verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Product and international mindset.
