Job Description
Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, is seeking a Security Researcher to join their team in Cambridge. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the Cambridge office. The Security Researcher will be involved in the continuous development of Darktrace's cyber security product suite and researching attacker tradecraft. They will work closely with the development team to discover and address specific areas of improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing feedback from the analyst team about the performance of the product.
- Feeding back to the development team and helping to determine directions of future research and product development.
- Undertaking other data analysis and scripting tasks to help improve the product in general.
- Building and assessing detections within your product area.
Requirements:
- Experience in host based analysis and networking knowledge.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience working as part of a Managed SOC, Incident response, or detection engineering team.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and take independent decisions.
