Job Description
Darktrace is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their team in Los Angeles. The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and closing net new opportunities within their assigned territory. Reporting to the regional Sales Director, the Account Executive will work alongside fellow representatives to achieve quarterly revenue targets and support organizational growth.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business leads through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities using CRM.
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets through the acquisition of new accounts.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of outbound B2B sales experience selling complex software.
  • One year of closing experience.
  • Experience multi-threading, cadence-building, and objection-handling.
  • Clear sales methodology and passion for hunting new business.
  • Confident communication skills and ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred but not essential.
