(SG) Senior Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Backbase is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Solutions Engineering team. This role is based in Dubai, UAE.

The Senior Solutions Engineer will design end-state solutions for prospects using Backbase software. He will educate, design, and evangelize the Backbase product suite, empowered by a strong global team of specialists. The candidate will translate requirements into solutions, working with various stakeholders from board members to engineering teams.

The company works on a global scale and the role may require international travel. The Senior Solutions Engineer will guide prospects in exploring Backbase products and achieving their digital ambitions through technology deep dives, proof of concepts, workshops, and feedback sessions.

Role involves:

• Designing prospect’s end-state solution based on Backbase software
• Educating prospects on Backbase products
• Leading proof of concepts and workshops
• Generating feedback from prospects
• Traveling to client locations globally

Requirements:

• Excellent Arabic, English and French speaking, writing and presentation skills
• 8+ years of experience as a (digital) banking consultant
• Experience with enterprise software architectures or mobile and web technologies
• Familiarity with Java, Spring, Angular, iOS, Android and Kubernetes
• Strong analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
