Intern - Community & Documentation

Job Description

FourKites is seeking an Intern to join their Product Team. This internship offers real-world experience in creating scalable, high-quality product and technical content for both internal and external communities. The intern will contribute to educating and training users, reducing inquiries, and enhancing the customer and partner-facing Knowledge Base, as well as internal product documentation.Role involves:

• Improving existing customer-facing how-to articles and technical documentation.
• Writing scripts and creating or updating product demos and how-to videos.
• Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to learn about FourKites products and services.
• Drafting, revising, and validating product and technical documents within an Agile environment.
• Educating internal and external users on product changes.
• Collaborating on strategic documentation projects and community initiatives.
• Assisting in gathering data to understand community needs and support community programs.

Requirements:

• Strong English writing, speaking, and editing skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint/Keynote Animation.
• Some experience or familiarity with technical writing or any other form of writing.
• A passion for technology and its application to solve business problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build working relationships.
• Major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or related field.
