Intercom is seeking an Account Executive to focus on growing its existing commercial business. This role involves building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions based on the Intercom platform. The Account Executive will develop strategic territory plans, collaborate with internal teams, and track key metrics related to customer growth and product usage.
What this role involves: - Building relationships with Intercom’s Commercial Business customers.
- Understanding customer business pains and providing solutions.
- Developing strategic territory plans for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Tracking and reporting key metrics related to customer growth.
Requirements for this role: - 2+ years managing a large book of business (150 accounts).
- 1+ years selling SaaS products.
- Experience managing procurement processes.
- Strong sales instincts and a track record of exceeding quota.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain deep client relationships.
