Freelance Subtitler – Bengali

Job Description

Beast Industries, founded by MrBeast, seeks a Freelance Subtitler to create Bengali subtitles for original English content. The Subtitler will be integral to the localization team, ensuring content is accessible to Bengali-speaking audiences. The role involves creating, editing, and delivering Bengali subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos, collaborating with a Language Coordinator, and assisting with localized metadata.

Responsibilities:

• Create subtitles in Bengali, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Implement feedback from the Language Coordinator.
• Meet tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects.
• Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences.
• Maintain clear communication with the Language Coordinator and team.
• Build familiarity with the MrBeast brand.

Requirements:

• Native Bengali speaker.
• C1+ level English proficiency.
• 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, or dubbing.
• Passion for the Bengali language and culture.
• Organized and adaptable.
• Comfortable working under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
