Job Description
Beast Industries, led by MrBeast, seeks a Freelance Subtitler to create Russian subtitles for their original English content. The role involves making content accessible to Russian-speaking audiences through accurate and culturally relevant subtitles. The Subtitler will report to a Russian Language Coordinator and collaborate with studio partners.
Role involves:
- Creating subtitles in Russian, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Implementing feedback from the Language Coordinator.
- Meeting tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects.
- Assisting in creating localized metadata for regional audiences.
- Maintaining clear communication with the Language Coordinator and studio partners.
- Building familiarity with the MrBeast brand.
Requirements:
- Native Russian speaker.
- C1+ level English proficiency.
- 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, or dubbing.
- Passion for the Russian language and culture.
- Organized and adaptable to changes in project schedule.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
