Beast Industries, founded by MrBeast, is seeking a Freelance Subtitler to create Spanish subtitles for original English content. The role involves making content accessible for Spanish-speaking audiences. The Subtitler will report to a Language Coordinator and collaborate with studio partners. They will also translate video titles and descriptions and become familiar with the dubbing process.
Role involves:
- Creating subtitles in Spanish, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Implementing feedback from the Language Coordinator.
- Meeting tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects.
- Assisting in creating localized metadata for regional audiences.
- Maintaining clear communication with the Language Coordinator and studio partners.
- Building familiarity with the MrBeast brand.
Requirements:
- Native Spanish speaker.
- C1+ level English proficiency.
- 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, or dubbing.
- Passion for native language and culture.
- Organized and adaptable.
- Comfortable working under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
