Freelance Subtitler – Tamil

Job Description

Beast Industries, founded by MrBeast, is seeking a Freelance Tamil Subtitler to join their CreatorGlobal team. The role involves creating Tamil subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness. The Subtitler will collaborate with a Tamil Language Coordinator, translate video titles and descriptions, and become familiar with the dubbing process. Responsibilities:

• Create subtitles in Tamil, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules.
• Receive feedback from Language Coordinator and effectively implement feedback into revised subtitles.
• Meet tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects and respond to Language Coordinators’ QC feedback within 24 hours of receipt.
• Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences where necessary.
• Maintain clear and timely communication directly with your Language Coordinator, studio partners, and CG Leadership.
• Build familiarity with the Beast brand.

Requirements:

• Native Tamil speaker
• C1+ level English
• 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, or dubbing
• Passion for Tamil language and culture
• Organized and adaptable
• Comfortable working under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Empathetic and proactive team leader
