Later is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead transformative initiatives in Technical Operations, focusing on Engineering Operations. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational leadership to enhance engineering efficiency, reliability, and innovation across the organization. The Staff TPM will lead technically transformative programs with organization-wide impact, shape company strategy, and establish program management best practices.
What this role involves: - Architecting and executing the next stage of engineering evolution.
- Leading adoption and enforcement of Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Driving a developer-first architecture for scalability and agility.
- Championing developer experience initiatives to improve productivity.
- Managing complex, interdependent system changes across the technology stack.
- Coordinating major technical migrations while ensuring system reliability.
- Mapping SDLC processes and identifying opportunities to accelerate software delivery.
- Overseeing complex, cross-team technical initiatives.
- Developing program management talent across the organization.
Requirements: - 7+ years in Engineering or Technical Program Management, ideally within high-growth SaaS environments.
- Proven experience evolving engineering operations.
- Track record of leading technically transformative programs with organization-wide impact.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Deep understanding of modern SDLC, Agile methodologies, and service ownership models (SLOs, SLIs, etc.).
- Technical background in software development, systems architecture, and DevOps tooling.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
