Job Description

Nucleus Global is seeking a Lead Medical Writer to join a global medical affairs team, working with a leading pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in developing and reviewing content within a MedComms setting, particularly with expertise in MASH and hepatology.This senior role involves:

• Partnering with the client as a trusted advisor.
• Traveling for client meetings and events.
• Serving as a senior scientific member of the team.
• Collaborating with scientific and CS leads to streamline processes.
• Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior writers.
• Ensuring high-quality delivery and business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Client Services Director and Editorial Lead to ensure scientific excellence.
• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of hepatology and medical affairs.
• Supporting the development of proposals, medical education, and communication tactics.
• Delivering strategic documents and other deliverables with high scientific and strategic content.
• Line managing junior writers.

Requirements:

• Key therapy area knowledge including MASH and hepatology.
• Experience developing and reviewing related content within a MedComms setting.
• Senior experience at this level.
