Job Description
Lush North America is seeking a HR Compliance Specialist for a 14-month contract within their People and Culture team. This role is crucial for developing and implementing company policies that align with Lush's values and ensure compliance across US operations, particularly in retail. The Compliance Specialist will identify gaps, interpret employment legislation, update policies, and drive implementation through collaboration and training. While primarily focused on US compliance, there may be opportunities to support Canadian initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Managing vendor relationships for labor law posters and worker compensation claims.
  • Collaborating on compliance-related training.
  • Creating and updating employment guidelines and policies.
  • Monitoring new legislation and recommending actions.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of HR compliance experience.
  • 5+ years of employee relations experience.
  • Experience in both Canada and the US, with a focus on California.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
