ExtraHop is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive the success of strategic sales engagements. This role involves technical leadership and a deep understanding of customer needs. The Senior Sales Engineer will influence sales cycles and contribute to revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical strategy across the full sales lifecycle.
Drive customer discovery efforts.
Mitigate technology-related buying objections.
Demonstrate ExtraHop’s platform.
Conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POC).
Articulate the security value proposition.
Lead technical qualification and deal strategy.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams.
Influence product direction and go-to-market strategy.
Provide post-sales follow-up and technical training.
Build strategic relationships with key partner SEs.
Capture sales updates and leverage SFDC.
Requirements:
7+ years selling Cloud and Cyber Security technology into large Enterprises.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working directly with cloud concepts.
Complex and strategic selling experience.
Deep understanding of enterprise-architecture concepts and risk management.
Excellent knowledge of key protocols across Layers 2-7.
Broad understanding of enterprise information technologies and cloud concepts.
In-depth knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering Concepts
Familiarity with automation and infrastructure as code technologies.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
