ExtraHop is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive the success of strategic sales engagements. The Senior Sales Engineer will provide technical leadership and industry insight. This role involves influencing high-impact sales cycles and contributing to revenue growth. The Senior Sales Engineer will lead technical sales strategy, deliver product demonstrations, and guide customers through complex solution architectures. They will also mentor other sales engineers and collaborate with product and engineering teams.
Leading technical strategy across the sales lifecycle
Driving customer discovery efforts
Mitigating technology-related buying objections
Demonstrating ExtraHop’s platform
Conducting Proof-of-Concepts (POC)
Articulating the security value proposition
Collaborating with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Engineers
Requirements:
7+ years selling Cloud and Cyber Security technology
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area
Minimum of 1 year of experience working directly with cloud concepts
Complex and strategic selling experience
Deep understanding of enterprise-architecture concepts and risk management
Excellent knowledge of key protocols across Layers 2-7
Broad understanding of enterprise information technologies across the full OSI stack
In-depth knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering Concepts
Familiarity with automation and infrastructure as code technologies
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
