Job Description

BitMEX, a leading crypto derivatives exchange, is seeking a Trading Engineer for its Wallets & Funds team in Vancouver. This role is crucial for maintaining the security and efficiency of cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. The Trading Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of software for crediting customer deposits and preparing withdrawals in a high-uptime environment.

• Developing and maintaining software for cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals.
• Improving test coverage and engaging in test-driven development.
• Assisting in architecting new cryptocurrency and wallet infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience working on a Python codebase.
• Familiarity with code-review and pull-request workflows.
• Experience with network protocols and threading/locking models.
