Job Description

Hunch, a dating app focused on personality-based matching, is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join their team in New Delhi. The company has secured $23 million in Series A funding and is experiencing rapid growth in the US market.

The Principal Data Scientist will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end machine learning solutions, collaborating with engineers, and leading junior data scientists. They will conduct data analysis, design A/B testing experiments, and apply machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end machine learning solutions.
• Research and apply machine learning algorithms.
• Conduct extensive data analysis.
• Design and execute A/B testing experiments.
• Lead junior data scientists.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
• 6+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying ML solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and methods.
• Experience working on deep learning projects, preferably with PyTorch.
• Theoretical knowledge of computer vision and NLP concepts.
