Job Description
Figure is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their growing team. Figure is a financial technology firm focused on maximizing the value of homeownership. The Senior Analyst will be a key partner in shaping Figure's financial strategy by delivering high-quality insights that inform critical business decisions. The role involves scaling financial infrastructure, managing risk, and evaluating new product and revenue opportunities.What this role involves:
  • Owning the company’s financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Partnering with Departments and Teams across Figure to build dynamic financial models.
  • Conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Translating complex data into compelling dashboards and reports.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial KPIs specific to fintech.
  • Supporting investor relations and fundraising activities.
  • Driving financial systems improvements to scale reporting and automation.
  • Collaborating with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
What Figure is looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CFA, and/or CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience, preferably within a fintech, investment banking, private equity, or financial services company.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with demonstrated experience analyzing fintech metrics.
  • Expertise in Excel and financial planning tools; familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High comfort working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Understanding of fixed income instruments a plus
  • Understanding of payments/banking a plus
