Job Description
Arvinas is seeking an experienced Executive Medical Director to contribute to the development of oncology medicines. This role involves leading clinical research and development programs, pivotal trials, and regulatory filing activities. The Executive Medical Director will serve as a key liaison between the company and clinical investigators, establishing relationships with opinion leaders and regulatory officials.
Role Involves:
- Providing clinical input and guidance to develop the oncology corporate strategy.
- Designing Phase I/II/III research trials in oncology/hematology.
- Supervising and monitoring trial conduct.
- Managing trial execution and investigator engagement.
- Collaborating in developing global regulatory plans and participating in regulatory meetings.
- Identifying opportunities for external collaboration.
- Providing clinical assessments of potential in-licensing assets.
- Reviewing written materials for clinical study reports and manuscripts.
Requirements:
- Board certified MD or MD/PhD.
- 5+ years (10+ years strongly preferred) of clinical and managerial experience in drug development within oncology/hematology.
- Experience across multiple stages of clinical development, from IND to NDA / BLA.
- Global clinical development experience required, and global filing experience preferred.
- Technical experience evaluating targets/agents for in licensing or internal development.
- Experience supervising physicians and/or scientific staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams.
