BitMEX is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Analyst to support the implementation and continuous improvement of BitMEX’s Financial Crime Compliance program, focusing on Sanctions and Travel Rule Compliance. The role involves day-to-day advisory support and collaboration with cross-functional teams.BitMEX is a leading global exchange for crypto derivatives, known for its professional-grade trading platform and commitment to security. - Serve as a subject matter expert on Financial Crime Compliance.
- Develop and manage the firm-wide Travel Rule program.
- Advise on escalations related to KYC, Sanctions, and Travel Rule Compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry developments.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams.
- Evaluate compliance, operational, and reputational risk.
- Maintain the Financial Crime Compliance program.
- Coordinate projects and manage external vendors.
- 3-6 years of AML & Sanctions compliance experience, with crypto industry experience preferred.
- Experience in financial crime compliance program implementation.
- Experience in performing testing/quality assurance.
- Compliance qualification (e.g., CAMS, CGSS, ICA Diploma).
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrable interest in virtualasset financial services.
- Demonstrable ability to operate under own initiative.
