Anaplan is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team in Ottawa, Canada. The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for crafting and helping build the next generation of the Anaplan Platform. Role Involves:

• Designing and implementing highly scalable distributed systems and shared services infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Using data-driven approaches to measure the quality of the platform.
• Implementing code to the desired specification, including tests and documentation.
• Serving as a senior team member and ensuring architecture and design is at its best.
• Mentoring engineering team members.
• Contributing intellectual property through patent generation.
• Applying judgment to determine what to defer and what problem needs to be solved now.
• Influencing infrastructure architecture by sharing expertise.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience in Java.
• RUST programming experience.
• Experience in building and maintaining a SaaS product at scale.
• Experience with cloud storage S3, NFS, NetApp OnTap, AWS FSX, Cohesity.
• Experience with containers and orchestration Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and metrics infrastructure (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Splunk, SignalFx).
• Experience with Public Cloud (AWS / GCP/ Azure).
