Job Description

PlayStation is seeking a Simplified Chinese Localization QA Tester to join PlayStation Studios QA through a vendor agency. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate. The successful candidate will discover, investigate, reproduce, and communicate bugs to game development teams. They will collaborate with world-class developers and contribute to upcoming PlayStation Studios releases.

The role involves:

  • Testing the Simplified Chinese version of games.
  • Verifying localized content aligns with the game's world.
  • Checking for inconsistencies in in-game dialogue.
  • Identifying and reporting cultural inaccuracies and errors.
  • Categorizing issues based on severity.

Requirements include:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong passion for games.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in both individual and team environments.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Native or near-native level in Simplified Chinese.
  • Game testing experience (Localization QA or QA experience).
  • Software localization experience.
