Job Description
PlayStation is seeking a Traditional Chinese Localization QA Tester for a temporary engagement through their vendor agency. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate.

The Traditional Chinese Localization QA Tester will discover, investigate, reproduce, and effectively communicate bugs to game development teams. They will collaborate with world-class developers and contribute to the next great PlayStation Studios release.

What this role involves:
  • Testing the Traditional Chinese version of games developed by PlayStation Studios or external development.
  • Verifying and reporting whether the localized content aligns with the game's world.
  • Checking for inconsistencies in in-game dialogue.
  • Identifying and reporting cultural inaccuracies, errors in expressions, and potential issues.
  • Categorizing issues based on their severity.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong passion for games.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in both an individual and team environment.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Highly detail-oriented and capable of maintaining structure in fast-paced environments.
  • Native or near-native level in Traditional Chinese (TOCFL Level 6 or higher).
  • Game testing experience (Localization QA experience or QA experience).
  • Software localization experience.
