Adyen is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Singapore. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, and Microsoft. This role involves being a key point of contact for Adyen’s merchants globally, working with various internal teams to deliver exceptional merchant support. The ideal candidate will be merchant-focused, highly motivated, and thrive on shared success.
What this role involves:
- Providing customers with the tools they need to successfully accept payments globally.
- Serving as a key source of knowledge on the Adyen platform, products, and APIs.
- Supporting merchant technical personnel, troubleshooting technical problems, and creating the best possible merchant experience.
- Advising merchants on best implementation practices and addressing specific issues.
- Gathering merchant feedback and communicating needs to product and management teams.
- Providing first-class service, analyzed via CSAT and regular QA of engineer tickets.
Requirements:
- Experienced Technical Support Engineer/Technical Solutions Consultant.
- Loves providing technical assistance to merchants via phone, web-based tools, and email.
- Capable of making quick, informed decisions under pressure and prioritizing tasks.
- Creative, innovative, and possesses strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly.
- Able to write scripts: SQL, JavaScript, Python, or Java code.
- Able to solve problems by identifying issues via inferring from complex data sets or reading application or hardware logs.
- A team player who takes responsibility for tasks and enjoys working independently.
- Experienced in collaborating with globally distributed, multicultural teams.
- Likes going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a bonus.
- Willing to travel globally where required.
