Job Description
Sertis, a leading Data and AI engineering and solutions company in ASEAN and a partner firm of Andersen Consulting, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive commercial deal shaping and close AI and Data engagements. The role involves leading cross-functionally with Sertis’ Tech, PMO, Partnership and Marketing teams, and other Andersen partner firms to ensure output and client deliverables from pre-sales to close. The Senior Business Development Manager will also be assigned key accounts and participate in a commission plan for closed business.
  • Prepare proposals and close deals
  • Manage key client relationships
  • Advise customers on how data analytics or AI can integrate into their business and boost financial results
  • Work with hyperscalers and lead generation partners to secure and manage opportunities
  • Gather preliminary requirements in the presales process
  • Perform stakeholder analysis
  • Develop and communicate commercial opportunity potential internally
  • Shape deals and opportunities
  • Own the commercial relationship (Account Management) alongside working with the Solution Delivery team (PMO) responsible for technical delivery
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related fields, or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of BD and solution sales/closing experience in consulting, technology, or software sales domains
  • Solution sales experience
  • Understanding of business and context-related problems to identify and present solutions
  • Deep knowledge of Data and AI technology
  • Deal focus and commercial acumen
  • Ability to handle presale discussions in a client-facing environment
  • Ability to take a leadership role internally and externally
  • Advanced proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite
  • Business level English is required
