Job Description

Sertis, a leading Data and AI company based in Bangkok, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AP Accountant to join their growing team. The Accountant will play a key role in managing end-to-end accounts payable (AP) operations, handling transfer payments, monitoring fixed assets, and ensuring day-to-day accounting tasks are completed with precision. They will also be involved in providing financial insights to support strategic decisions.

What this role involves:

  • Managing full-cycle accounts payable including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor management
  • Reviewing and processing transfer payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Overseeing daily accounting operations, maintaining proper documentation and internal controls
  • Monitoring and maintaining records of fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Ensuring timely and accurate tax filings (VAT, WHT, CIT), adhering to Thai regulations
  • Supporting cash flow management to ensure healthy financial positioning
  • Assisting with preparation and consolidation of financial statements across entities
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to internal stakeholders for business decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners including auditors and tax consultants

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance
  • Hands-on experience with full-loop AP and payment processing
  • Familiar with Thai tax regulations, BOI, and commercial law
  • Preferably from an in-house or accounting firm background
  • CPD license or related certifications are a strong plus
  • Good command of English (both speaking and writing)
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel
