Recharge, a leading subscription platform, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their team in Toronto. This hybrid role requires one day per week in the office. The Senior Sales Engineer will be the primary technical resource during the pre-sales process, guiding technical sales discussions, conducting product demonstrations, and advising on best practices for implementing Recharge's tools. They will work alongside Account Executives to ensure merchants receive the best possible configuration of Recharge’s features and bespoke implementations through custom integrations.
What this role involves:
Acting as the primary technical leader and trusted advisor to the Enterprise sales team and prospects.
Engaging directly with prospects to demonstrate the value of Recharge's technology throughout the sales cycle.
Preparing for and leading technical discussions with various stakeholders.
Consulting with prospects to provide technical insight and guidance on go-to-market strategies.
Staying ahead of developments in the eCommerce & retail industries and Shopify ecosystem.
Representing Recharge at industry events.
Collaborating with internal teams to enhance products and enablement strategies.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Sales Engineering role within the eCommerce or retail industry.
Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Recharge solutions effectively.
Strong customer-facing skills to communicate Recharge's vision to technical and executive audiences.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales Solutions role.
Strong understanding of programming and debugging, REST APIs, and Webhooks (Python or Javascript preferred).
Experience with data architecture and data analytics.
Understanding of the eCommerce industry and strong technical sales background.
Great oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
