Job Description
Recharge is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive enterprise sales strategy. The Senior Sales Engineer will be the primary technical resource during the pre-sales process, guiding technical sales discussions, conducting product demonstrations, and advising on best practices for implementing Recharge's tools. This role involves creating solutions, working alongside Account Executives, and ensuring merchants receive the best configuration of Recharge’s features and custom integrations.Role involves:
- Acting as the primary technical leader and trusted advisor to the Enterprise sales team and prospects.
- Engaging directly with prospects to demonstrate the value of our technology throughout the sales cycle.
- Preparing for and leading technical discussions with various stakeholders.
- Consulting with prospects to provide technical insight and guidance on go-to-market strategies.
- Staying ahead of developments in the eCommerce & retail industries and Shopify ecosystem.
- Representing Recharge at industry trade shows, conferences, and third-party sponsorships.
- Collaborating with internal teams at Recharge to enhance products and enablement strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Sales Engineering role within the eCommerce or retail industry.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Recharge solutions effectively.
- Strong customer-facing skills to communicate our vision to technical and executive audiences.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales Solutions role.
- Strong understanding of programming and debugging, as well as REST APIs and Webhooks (Python or Javascript preferred)
- Experience with data architecture and data analytics
- An understanding of the eCommerce industry and strong technical sales background
- Great oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to see prospects
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
