Job Description
Forward Networks is seeking a Systems (Sales) Engineer to revolutionize network management. The Systems Engineer will be the primary technical resource, working with large enterprise accounts in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. This role involves driving the technology evaluation stage, answering technical questions, and communicating business value to all levels of management. The Systems Engineer will establish and maintain strong customer relationships, establish technical feasibility, and perform qualification of potential technical deployments.
- Serving as the primary technical resource for the sales organization.
- Working with the sales team as the product advocate and key technical advisor.
- Driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Developing and delivering product demos and POCs.
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Working with internal product management and engineering teams to convey customer requirements.
- Representing the product to customers, partners, and at field events.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of networking and security solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5+ years’ experience selling to Enterprise customers.
- 2+ years' experience with scripting or programming languages.
- Superior presentation skills.
