Job Description
Box is seeking an Atlassian Service Engineer II to manage and optimize its internal Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management environments. The role involves streamlining collaboration, delivering services, and running IT operations by maintaining a stable, scalable, and user-friendly Atlassian ecosystem. The candidate will join a high-impact IT Operations team supporting various business functions.

What This Role Involves:
  • Administering and maintaining Box’s Atlassian environments.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and build scalable solutions.
  • Leading platform upgrades and routine maintenance.
  • Supporting integrations between Atlassian tools and external platforms.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation and training materials.
  • Triaging and resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Implementing governance standards and enforcing best practices.
  • Contributing to long-term strategy for platform maturity and automation.


Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira administration.
  • Experience with scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL practices and Service Desk operations.
  • Solid communication skills.
