Front-End Manager (Web & API)

Job Description

BitMEX is seeking a Front-End Manager to lead a team of Full Stack Web Engineers. The manager will work on the BitMEX.com website, APIs, and mobile applications. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Affiliates, and other technical teams to enhance BitMEX’s retail strategy and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 5 full-stack engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Managers to define and oversee product development.
• Lead technical initiatives and establish engineering best practices.
• Continuously modernize and elevate technological and customer experience standards.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in Computer Science.
• Experience building, managing, and coaching frontend/backend/mobile software engineers and designers.
• Expertise with NodeJS and React.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and project managing product development.
• Familiarity with current industry coding practices, design patterns, and test automation.
• Experience building real-time trading UIs and working in Financial Services.
