Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join their team in Mahwah, New Jersey. This is an on-call position that supports multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms. No formal Montessori training is required, as the company provides training during orientation. This role offers a great opportunity to join Guidepost Montessori, with potential to transition into a full-time Assistant Teacher.Role involves:
  • Supporting mixed-age Montessori classrooms.
  • Providing coverage for full-time teachers who are absent.
  • Participating in training provided by the company.
Requirements:
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid state background check.
  • Warm and friendly demeanor.
  • ECE units or recent teaching experience with children 0-6 (preferred).
