Job Description
JustAnswer is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to enhance its front-end ecosystem. The engineer will focus on performance, scalability, and faster front-end development cycles. As part of a 5-engineer team, the role involves collaborating with over 30 software engineering teams to identify pain points, introduce automated insights, and test AI-driven solutions. The front-end handles significant traffic, supporting numerous releases weekly.
Role involves:
- Writing high-quality front-end and infrastructure code
- Partnering with teams to address front-end challenges
- Building automated metrics and dashboards
- Evaluating AI-powered tools
- Participating in code reviews and mentoring
Requirements:
- 5+ years of front-end development experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with React experience
- Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
- Deep testing hands on experience (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerised and cloud-native deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) would be a plus
