IMC is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their APAC Compliance team in Sydney. The successful candidate will work closely with the Trading and Technology teams to manage regulatory risks across multiple jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region. Driving IMC’s regulatory vision and compliance efforts.
Promoting IMC’s Compliance culture and awareness.
Monitoring and reviewing applicable laws and regulations.
Assisting with regulator and exchange communication.
Communicating with Brokers and Exchanges.
Developing and maintaining written policies and procedures.
Conducting periodic reviews of internal compliance.
Assessing alerts from Compliance surveillance tools.
Conducting necessary tasks for IMC’s AML procedures.
Communicating with regional compliance teams.
Requirements:
2 to 4 years of experience in financial markets compliance.
Degree qualified in Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
Understanding of proprietary trading and market making business models is an advantage.
Understanding of programming and/or database querying (eg. Python, SQL) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and in teams.
Ability to communicate complex ideas or concepts clearly.
Willing to learn and take responsibility for required tasks and projects.
