Job Description
Banyan Software is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Munich, Germany. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing software consolidator. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager and will partner with operating and finance colleagues to support high-quality software businesses owned by Banyan Software.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets, and KPIs of operating companies.
  • Perform quality assurance on finance and accounting work products.
  • Contribute to the operational performance of operating companies through analysis of budget-to-actuals.
  • Partner with M&A colleagues and support the operational / financial integration of acquisitions.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives contemplated in M&A business cases.
  • Develop ad hoc reports & dashboards to help CEOs with monitoring their businesses.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote best practices and efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to business as requested.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a finance/accounting role.
  • Accounting designation, with an academic background in accounting or finance ideally.
  • Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct or QuickBooks is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated and energetic with interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance.
  • Business level fluency in both spoken and written English and German.
