Job Description

OMD EMEA is seeking a Paid Search Account Director to lead campaign strategy and execution for a prominent brand. The role involves planning and buying across Paid Search platforms like Google, Naver, and Yahoo Japan, supporting the development of local and global strategies. The Account Director will manage branding and DR campaigns, collaborating with creative, planning, and account teams to align Paid Search with broader media plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading strategy and execution of Paid Search campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Navar platforms.
  • Overseeing campaign setup, optimisation, audience segmentation, and reporting.
  • Directing keyword and audience research, ad copywriting, and A/B testing.
  • Ensuring cross-channel integration and alignment with planning teams.
  • Guiding the team in adopting best practices and leveraging beta opportunities from platforms.
  • Liaising with platform partners on innovation, measurement, and tools.
  • Providing thought leadership and performance insight to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Using bid management tools (e.g., SKAI, Marin, or similar) to optimise performance and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Amazon Search).
  • Hands-on experience with third-party bidding tools (SKAI, Marin, or similar).
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Advanced understanding of e-commerce and branding Paid Search strategies.
  • Proficient in Excel and performance reporting.
  • Ability to lead projects and teams in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
  • Experience with Singular or similar measurement tools is a bonus

The role offers:

  • A hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely).
  • Flexible working hours around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30.
