Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Financial Resource Manager to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Mons, Belgium. The NCIA is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The Resource Manager will work within the NCI Agency Resource Portfolio Management (RPM) Office, focusing on budget and finance-related duties. Role Involves:
  • Monitoring and maintaining financial records.
  • Assisting with identifying and calculating costs for financial planning and budgeting.
  • Collating financial data and reports for analysis.
  • Implementing the organization's budget cycle and process.
  • Participating in developing and monitoring a budget.
  • Detecting and interpreting budget variances and overruns.
  • Analyzing errors in financial reports.
  • Creating simple financial reports.
  • Evaluating expense management alternatives and making recommendations.
  • Facilitating proper documentation and compliance.
  • Studying and evaluating audit trails.
  • Participating in the testing, review, and analysis of internal controls.
Requirements:
  • Experience in financial management within a customer funding environment.
  • Experience in planning, preparation, and production of budget submissions.
  • Experience in budget execution and resource management.
  • Experience in preparing/conducting statistical sampling methods and reporting.
  • Knowledge of and experience with enterprise resource planning systems, project management processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
