IT Systems Engineer

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support key client projects, specifically the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). This role involves providing Level 3 support for Core Services within the assigned DCIS. The engineer will be responsible for installing new baselines, monitoring and managing Core Services, ensuring security hardening, troubleshooting, and liaising with the Agency's Centralised Service Desk. • Installation of new Baselines.
• Monitoring and Management of Core Services.
• Security hardening based on security settings and group policies.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of Core Services.
• Liaising with the Agency's Centralised Service Desk.
• Updating security documentation.

Requirements:

• Three or more years of experience in managing Core Services.
• Excellent knowledge of SharePoint and ADFS.
• Managing DNS Domains and DNS Resolution on Windows 2008/2012 R2 and Windows 2016.
• Deep knowledge of implementing and administering large Active Directory (AD) environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Server Products such as Windows 2016/19/22.
• Good knowledge of creating and managing AD Group Policies.
• Good knowledge of managing and configuring the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 5.1.3 and above.
• Experience in federating core services between different organizations/entities.
• Experience in Deployable CIS, core services level 3 support.
• Valid National or NATO Cosmic Top Secret personal security clearance
