Job Description
MERGE is seeking an Account Director to lead the client services team and forge lasting relationships between clients and the agency. The Account Director will be a problem solver, working across various channels and driving results. They will collaborate with a team, use their industry expertise, and implement ideas in a fast-paced environment.

Role involves:
  • Assimilating business, customer, and marketplace insights.
  • Developing strategies and marketing programs.
  • Maintaining communication with client teams.
  • Educating clients with strategy, ideas, trends, and thought leadership.
  • Building relationships with clients.
  • Identifying additional business needs and implementing solutions.
  • Crafting strategic creative solutions for clients.
  • Managing and mentoring the account team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of account management experience at an advertising agency or similar.
  • Life Sciences/Pharma experience and understanding of the MLR process.
  • Strong background with strategic ideation, tactical activation, and financial management.
  • Superior professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to be a leader in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced client management skills.
  • Commitment to the client, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Managerial experience of at least 1 direct report.
